East Campus Women's Ministry
The goal of this ministry is to see God transform the lives of women as they study His word, as they experience His power through prayer, and as they develop meaningful relationships with His people. Our mission is to make disciples of Jesus Christ through women reaching other women. (Matthew 28:19-20 & Titus 2:3-5) In everything we do our desire is to please God and give glory unto Him. (I Corinthians 10:31b)
Our ministry opportunities include Bible study, Mom 2 Mom, Friday Fellowship, The Lunch Bunch, The Welcome Baby Team, and the Ladies Fall Retreat.

Bible Study meets weekly on Wednesday mornings at 9:30 - 11:30 am and Wednesday evening at 6:30 - 8:00 pm during the school year. Morning childcare is available for infants - age 5. Please join us: Wed. morning - room 135 and Wed. evening - rooms 301, 304, and 305. Weekly lessons are also available by email. Contact vwalker@highview.org
The central focus of our women's ministry is Bible study. To know, understand, and do what God tells us in the Bible is the key to a changed life. As God changes us, our lives will be a catalyst to affect all those with whom we have contact - our families, friends, coworkers, and neighbors.
We offer one study at a time to encourage unity among our women but divide into many small groups to connect with other women in a more intimate setting. Women of all ages and various stages of spiritual maturity participate in our Bible study. Our study is produced by the leaders of our small groups and written with the women at Highview in mind. The purpose is to produce material that teaches others how to study the Bible for themselves and then communicates how to live-out these truths in our world. Our leaders are excellent role models providing spiritual encouragement and guidance.
Mom 2 Mom meets weekly on Wednesday mornings from 9:30 - 11:30 am during the school year. Childcare is available for infants - age 5. Please join us during the fall or spring in the Greenhouse.
Experienced mothers share their parenting wisdom on various topics to encourage both expectant mothers & young moms. Small group discussions provide helpful tips and prayer support.

Friday Fellowship meets weekly on Fridays 8:30 - 10:00 am. Join us anytime in the main foyer using the rain entrance. Coffee or tea is available. Special breakfast, lunch, and shopping outings are scheduled throughout the year. This group provides a wonderful opportunity for women of all ages to chat, make friends, and enjoy an occasional outing together. To sign up, contact vwalker@highview.org.
The Lunch Brunch meets the second Sunday of each month for lunch after church. Those wanting to participate meet at the Welcome Center desk at 12:15 pm. These women include women of all ages who attend church by themselves and would like to meet other ladies at Highview.
The Welcome Baby Team meets every other month at East campus from 7 - 8 pm in the Greenhouse. The dates for meeting at East campus are: May 27, August 26, and October 27. New team members are always needed and can join at any monthly meeting.
This team provides a special ministry to families beginning with childbirth and continues until the child is about six weeks old. Team members begin praying for the family when the mother goes into labor. They continue to care for the mom through visiting her in the hospital and helping the family during the first several weeks of transition.
