It is our desire at Highview’s Spencer County Campus to show how the Bible relates to everyday living. We do this by way of numerous venues such as:
Adult Bible FellowshipOn Sunday morning, these small-groups target specific groups including Men, Women, and Couples with practical biblical teaching as well as close-knit fellowship with other believers.
| Class | Teacher(s) | Ages | Room |
|---|---|---|---|
| Couples | Nat Millican | All Ages | |
| Ladies | Kyndra Moore | All Ages | |
| Men | Darroll Hawkins | All Ages |
During this time, Pastor Nick walks step by step through entire books of the Bible to provide relevant teaching and group discussion about difficult Bible passages.
On Sunday nights, these small groups meet separately in the homes of our members to provide issue-specific and open-floor discussions about topics including (but not limited to) parenting, marriage, finances, sharing your faith, and learning to study the Bible.
While marriage and family togetherness are central to our mission, we also recognize the value of providing separate opportunities to address issues specifically relating to Men and Women. Spencer County men have such opportunities in; Bible and book studies, outdoor events, retreats and conferences, as well as missions and service projects. Spencer County women have similar opportunities in; Ladies’ Nights Out, Mom2Mom, First Place Weight Loss Programs, and a series of topical Bible studies.
