Gary Richmond , Minister to Adults
Gary Richmond serves as Minister to Adults at the Valley Station Campus. He is married to his wife, Christine. They met through friends at the Valley Station Campus and will celebrate their second wedding anniversary later this year.
The Henderson County native is a graduate of Western Kentucky University, Clear Creek Baptist Bible College and The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Gary is a fan of the Chicago Cubs and the Indianapolis Colts. He and his wife live in the Valley Station Community where they enjoy spending time with family and friends.
As a youngster, Richmond accepted Christ as his Savior. However, as he grew older, he grew away from his relationship with Christ. “I drifted spiritually and lived my own life during high school,” says Richmond. “In college, I rededicated my life to the Lord and have been faithfully serving Him to this day. An awareness of God’s call to full-time Christian service grew in my heart until I surrendered my life in the fall of 1990. The Lord pressed upon me the need for preparation, and I have obeyed Him by attending both Bible College and Seminary.”
“My foremost objective in ministry,” says Richmond, “is to glorify God in all that I do. As I seek to accomplish this task, I desire to know Him in full obedience through the work of the Holy Spirit illuminating His Word to me, and to bring as many persons into a personal, growing relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.”
