Ronnie Parrott , Minister to Students
Ronnie Parrott is the Minister to Students at Highview’s Valley Station Campus. He oversees all middle school, high school, and college ministries at the Valley Station Campus. Ronnie and his wife Marci have one son named Jack. Jack was born on February 25, 2007. Marci grew up at Highview. Ronnie has been on the staff at Highview since 2003.
The Boyce College graduate is pursuing a Masters of Divinity at Southern Seminary in the Billy Graham School of Missions, Evangelism, and Church Growth.
Ronnie grew up in Knoxville, TN. “Growing up in Tennessee,” says Ronnie, “naturally leads to being a fan of one of the greatest sports programs in the country, the University of Tennessee. I am a huge UT fan.” Ronnie enjoys attending sporting events, golfing, and fishing.
At the age of 12, Ronnie began his relationship with Jesus Christ. “When I was seventeen years old, I knew God was calling me into the ministry. I answered this call and began working with middle school students. I began in ministry in a para-church organization that focused on middle school students called YOKE Youth Ministry. I continued to serve in Youth Ministry as an intern at a church in Knoxville, TN and then an intern here at Highview before coming on Staff in 2006. After eight years serving in youth ministry, I have an even deeper passion for young people to hear the gospel and have the opportunity for them to spiritually mature.”
