The saving grace of Jesus Christ has the power to change the life of every person who hears it, believes it, and accepts it. We at Highview accept the high calling of responsibility to carry that message to as many people as possible.
That’s why in the fall of 2007, our church members voted unanimously to invest at least one million dollars into mission projects during 2008. We call that campaign Million to Missions.
Highview is a Great Commission focused church. The Great Commission can be found in Matthew 28:18-20—“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” This passage mandates that all followers of Jesus Christ are to be involved in taking the Good News of the Gospel throughout the world.
Highview wants at least 500 of our members to embark on mission trips during 2008. You too can personally be involved in missions by praying, giving, and going. For more information, visit our missions blog or contact missions@highview.org.
